I am a Classical Opera Singer. Being freelance in this profession gives me the opportunity to work with a wealth of skilled artists in a wide variety of settings; from theatres and festivals to large concert halls, independent cinemas, galleries and outdoors. For better or worse I am my voice. I am what I do and I am thoroughly excited to say that I love my job.
Whether I'm working on site-specific new opera-theatre, orchestrating a traditional recital or part of an opera production I endeavour to give my full energy, passion and creativity to my craft and its audience.
Originally from Burton-on-Trent I now live by the seaside in Brighton and am happy to travel. For more information please see my Biography page or get in touch. Thanks to Paul Walsh for the main photography. |

Being a Classical Singer means I can share my work at those special moments in our lives: Weddings, Birthdays, Funerals, Parties, Anniversaries, Christenings - whatever it is that needs celebrating!
Whether it's a restaurant, hotel, gallery, garden, or boat, at each occasion I ensure that the music, accompaniment and dress compliment the ambience of your event.
Rather than list each of my past events here, below are a couple of testimonials from the important people of the day:
|
"Adele has an absolutely beautiful singing voice - she has the ability to transform any event into a magical occasion" - Birthday for Caroline Lucas MP "We arranged a surprise for our guests and Adele entertained us, she was amazing, she made a very special day even more memorable" – Civil Partnership |
"Dear Adele, Your singing at my surprise 70th birthday party was simply superb. I loved it! It gave all the guests an hour of relaxation and enjoyment and provided a great talking point for the rest of the day. I loved your choice of music. It was clear that you had listened carefully to my son's musical requests. I would recommend you to anyone who wants to add a 'touch of class' to a party or special event." |
I began studying Singing and Theatre with Coral Gould in Burton-on-Trent. From there I attained a First Class Theatre Degree from Rose Bruford College. Whilst in London I performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Institut del Teatro, Baron's Court Theatre, Bromley Little Theatre, The Tate Modern, Edinburgh Festival and Disneyland.
I moved to Brighton nearly four years ago to complete a Masters in Opera and Music Theatre with Nick Till and Tim Hopkins. Since then I have performed in a wide range of venues and settings such as The Royal Pavilion, Jubilee Square, Duke of York’s Cinema, The Basement, Malborough Theatre, Fabrica Gallery, Chapel Royal, and The Phoenix Gallery. I continue to study voice with my tutor Carole Gibb.
